Hello Forest Rock Hills Friends and Neighbors!

Once again, it's almost time for the annual Forest Rock Hills Garage Sale.  Now is your opportunity to clean out your closets and sell those unwanted items.  This sale will be held Saturday July 20 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The week before the sale I'll be placing flyers throughout the neighborhood and advertising the sale through Craig's List and the community newspapers.

Please consider donating some of your unsold items to Second Season Thrift Store which supports the Fishline Food Bank.  Donations can be brought to the store Monday-Saturday 10 am - 5 pm.  The store is located at
18825 Anderson Parkway in Old Town Poulsbo (by Waterfront Park).  Their phone # is 360-598-5190
The following items will be accepted:

Clothing, linens, home decor, kitchen items, books and some furniture, depending on space available.
Please call before bringing furniture.
Due to lack of space they cannot accept:

Baby equipment including car seats, strollers and cribs.
Beds including mattresses, frames, head/foot boards and pillows.
Electronics including computers, parts, games, Nintendo, Sega and Playstation.
Exercise equipment
Large toaster ovens
Toys and stuffed animals, unless new.

Any questions, please give me a call at 360-731-7234

Comment From Home Owner Paula Jasper

Dear Board, I would like to post a comment on the FRHHOA Blog but discovered that "This blog does not allow anonymous comments. Comment moderation has been enabled. All comments must be approved by the blog author." I think it's only fair to point out the error in your recently mailing. You insist that there is no "approved color pallet (sic.)" for the homes in Forest Rock Hills despite the fact that I previously indicated to you (as the most "senior" of the homeowners in the development) that there MOST CERTAINLY WAS AN APPROVED PALETTE. The developers required ALL builders and owners to have their color choice(s) approved by the ACC, and these choices were "earth tones". This is a fact and no wishful thinking on the current Board's part will make this not true. Although you may not have found a "codified" statement of this, you certainly should have identified in the records of the ACC details of approvals of paint colors during the building of FRH. I would like to have this clearly stated to the owners. However, since I am unable to post to the Blog, I would request that you print either my email or a retraction of your own. Paula Jasper

Express your opinion!

Anyone who thinks this Blogspot should be used more-just send a quick e-mail to the Board. That'll help give them an idea of whether or not it should be kept up to date.
Thanks. Frankly, I kinda' like it, but that's because we started it back when I was on the Board, so I am biased.
